The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Secretary-Treasurer Leonard Kelley
The pledge of allegiance was conducted, and the president’s message was read.

New Affiliate: Pilchuck UniServ introduced themselves. 5000 Certificated Educators 9 Locals – Marysville, Mukilteo, Everett, Lake Stevens, Granite Falls, Snohomish, Monroe, Sultan, and Skykomish. A Regional office of WEA. Also has a small nurses unit.

Reports of Unions:
United Way (LAC): Aunja Staymates – CEO has stepped down from United Way and they are searching for a new one. Aunja has taken a new position as an office manager; they will be hiring a new Labor Liaison. LAC has donated $5,000 to the SICLC Hardship Fund and $2000 for this year’s school supply funds.
Pilchuck UniServ: Jared Kink - Everett School District is running a bond issue on the upcoming ballot. We would like help getting the word out that this is a positive for our community. Will send us the EEA’s resolution to share. The Bond will decrease taxes.
SEIU 1199NW: Cynthia Robson – Finally on our 4th anniversary of our creation, we ratified our contract!!!
OPEIU 8: Nyomie - Big win SeaMar Community Health, got4% raises. Organizing Crisis Connections, who handles 211 calls; ballots just went out.
IBEW 89: Teresa Johnson – 2nd round of Chemo for Michael Boe, he is doing well.
